Online friendships

It's the 21st century. We have new
technology. That means all sorts
of new ways to communicate with
the outside world. And with the
opportunity to communicate with
other people, online friendships
are formed.

Online friendships are pretty interesting. I mean, you meet a person from the other part of
the world. You can learn all sorts of new stuff from them. Also it is always interesting to talk
with them. You will never run out of topics. Even your everyday life may seem extremely
interesting to them. It’s an awesome feeling to have someone interested in you and your life
so much. Though the bad thing about those online friendships is, that you can't see each
other in real life. You can't hug your online friend when she needs you. You can't play some
silly games or do some weird stuff with them. And plus, this is 2017. That means if you make a
friend that will be there for you and care about you and accept you as you, you are really
lucky. If you find a person online that respects you, treasure them. Sadly, some online
friendships don't last. Those people just weren't meant to be friends, I guess. Their
friendships weren't as strong. But those strong ones that last for a long time, those are the
real ones. But I think that the best part about an online friendship is, when you actually get a
chance to meet each other in real life. That is the best thing ever.

By: Ivana Lomenova 8c I formed some online friendships in the past and I
have some now. I really hope they will last and that I
could be able to actually meet them. Though that
won't be straight away. But I am already looking
forward to it.
